Still Alive and getting close to finishing….
Well, believe it or not, I’m still working on the painting project!!! This last part is the bathroom, and these can be bring on real headaches… ‘Nough said on that subject. Will be sone in the next couple of days as I include cleaning the whole place up as well…
I have to be honest though, as I don’t really dedicate 100% of my time on the painting project, as you can pretty well imagine! I’d rather spend more time enjoying the weather, etc. etc…
One of these etc., is my other try at Ubuntu. Bottom line is: “I’ll wait until the next version! XP is going back on that machine… Ye, indeed it is too bad, but e-mail and surfing only, without decent web videos is not for me yet!
I still owe you a final report nad rants on my take on the status of the DeskTop Linux… In the meantime, I just picked up a Dell Latitude D600 with a whopping 2GB memory… that sucker flies for an early 1.4 Ghz Centrino Mobile platform. Thus, for the time being, I’m pretty well tied up with this guy at the moment.
